River City United Soccer Club (RCUSC)
was established as an LLC in September 2007. The club is currently applying for 501/C3 status with the IRS. Originally based on youth soccer teams from the Decatur, AL area, RCUSC now has teams and players coming from many of the adjoining communities (Huntsville, Madison, Hartselle, Priceville and Cullman). RCUSC is affiliated with the Alabama Soccer Association (ASA), and the United States Youth Soccer Association (USYSA). Our focus and mission are to provide the youth in the north Alabama area a safe, fun, and challenging environment to development their individual and team talents in all aspects of the game of soccer.
RCUSC is a member of the ASA Alabama State League (ASL). ASL is an Alabama based league administered by ASA for boys and girls ages 8U through 19U as part of the US Youth Soccer organization. The 0league provides the best a competitive environment for all levels of teams in Alabama. Teams can play in fall and spring seasons within the following divisions: Division 1 (D1), Divison 2 (D2), or Division 3 (D3).

Mr. Mike Remus joined the River City United Soccer Club (RCUSC) as its Director of Coaching in 2017 after a successful coaching career which spanned high school, college and club environments in Texas, Utah and Alabama. With the retirement of the previous club president, Andy Dye, in the summer of 2018, the RCUSC Board of Directors voted to have Mr. Remus also take on the role and duties of the club president
